Anthophyllite Crystal Skulls

Biotitic Anthophyllite has many positive energetic properties: it is known as a stone of releasing, allowing one to release things that are causing problems or pain. It is also very cleansing for the aura and environment.

Anthophyllite is one of the minerals found in Nuummite, but although it is often sold as Nuummite to unsuspecting buyers and even to dealers, Biotitic Anthophyllite is NOT Nuummite (some sources claim that it is a lower grade of Nuummite, but this is not true either - that is like saying that carbon is a lesser grade of Diamond!).

Biotitic Anthophyllite looks somewhat similar to Nuummite because it is a black stone, with small copper/peach colored flecks, but it does not have Nuummite's dramatic flash in streaks of gold, red or blue/green.

Difference of Anthophyllite vs Nuummite

Biotitic Anthophyllite looks somewhat similar to Nuummite because it is a black stone, with small copper/peach colored flecks, but it does not have Nuummite's dramatic flash in streaks of gold, red or blue/green. Genuine Nuummite comes only from Greenland, but because it is so rare, many sources sell Biotitic Anthophyllite as "Chinese Nuummite", Fake Nuummite, or inexpensive "Nuummit". (Unfortunately, MOST stones that are claimed to be Nuummite online and even in shops are actually Biotitic Anthophyllite, or Black Galaxy Granite.)

Notice: Because of its extreme rarity, certain countries are offering cheap imitation stones and calling them Nuummite. If it does not come from Greenland, it is not genuine Nuummite, because Greenland is the only known source for this magnificent stone. In fact, Nuummite is named after the capital of Greenland, Nuuk, which is where it comes from.

Some people sell Chinese "Nuummite" that looks like the material from a black granite countertop with square coppery flecks - some say that it has the same mineral content as real Nuummite, but claim that it is just a lesser grade and "not gem quality". The problem is that imitation Nuummite does not resemble the beauty, power and energy of genuine Nuummite from Greenland in any way! Please don't be fooled.
